Flat-ink screen printing
Screen printing gives solid, crisp colours on plain fabric. The catalogue price already includes one-colour marking in the standard area.
Cotton, jute, RPET or non-woven
There is cotton in a range of weights, rustic jute, recycled polyester and lightweight non-woven for conventions. Many bags use recycled material with GRS certification.
Short or long handles
Short handles are carried in the hand; long ones let the bag hang from the shoulder. Choose according to how the person receiving it will use it.
Where screen printed tote bags work
At conferences and conventions they are handed out with the paperwork and the event giveaways, and lightweight non-woven or thin cotton totes suit that well. At trade fairs, your logo travels down the aisles in the hand of every visitor.
In shops they replace the single-use bag, and as onboarding or client gifts a heavy cotton tote with long handles gets used every day for a long time. There are also foldable models and canvas travel bags.
Material, weight and marking
The fabric weight tells you how much body the cloth has: up to 180 g/m2 is a light, economical bag for handing out in volume, and above 280 g/m2 is a sturdy tote that can carry real weight. Certifications such as GRS, OEKO-TEX, OCS and amfori BSCI are available depending on the model.
Screen printing is the most common technique on fabric bags, and some models also accept screen transfer, digital transfer for logos with gradients, or embroidery. Before you pay, you receive a free mock-up with your logo placed on the bag.
How to choose screen printed tote bags
- Material for the use
- Cotton for a classic, washable tote, jute for a natural look, RPET or non-woven for handing out at events in a light, recycled material.
- Fabric weight and strength
- Under 180 g/m2 for giveaway bags, between 180 and 280 g/m2 for everyday use, and over 280 g/m2 for carrying weight or giving a bag that lasts.
- Capacity and handles
- There are bags of up to 10 l for documents, 10 to 25 l for shopping and over 25 l for travel. Short handles for carrying in the hand, long ones for the shoulder.
- Technique to suit the logo
- Screen printing works well with flat-colour logos. If your design has gradients or fine detail, ask about digital transfer, and for a textile finish, embroidery.
