The typical mistake is choosing a basic bag for carrying weight every day. If it will hold documents or clothing regularly, check the corners carefully: with reinforcement, eyelets and braided cord, they last much longer. And check the logo contrast in the mock-up so it can be read from a distance.

If the bag is part of a pack, being cheap is no longer enough: it helps to choose a fabric with a better feel and a bit more presence. In the Plus range you will see more personalised drawstring bags in recycled cotton or RPET, plus details such as a pocket or a more structured shape, with transfer, screen printing and, on cotton, embroidery too.
This is where the design usually goes wrong, not the bag. A very fine embroidered logo loses detail, and ink with too little contrast on natural cotton can look dull. If it will carry something heavier, compare it with custom tote bags or custom backpacks.

If you want branded drawstring bags that people will keep using after the event, it is worth moving up a range.
